There is only one God [Monotheism] (Isaiah 46:9, Isaiah 45:5, 2 Samuel 7:22, Deuteronomy 4:35).
One God who exists in three persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are all coeternal and of the same nature. (Matthew 28:19, 1 Corinthians 15:24, Romans 1:7, Acts 5:3–4)
God the Father (John 1:18, John 6:27, Philippians 1:2) God the son--Jesus (Colossians 2:9, Hebrews 1:8; Titus 2:13) God the Holy Spirit (Acts 5:3–4; 2 Corinthians 3:15–17)
“Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me” ~ Isaiah 46:9
The word of God
The Holy Scriptures (Old and New Testaments) are God-given, fully and verbally inspired by God and are therefore inerrant and infallible in the original writings and completely trustworthy in all areas in which they speak.
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” ~2 Timothy 3:16
The death and resurrection of Christ.
The Christian faith is based on Christ crucified and resurrected to life. (Matt. 17:22-23, Mark 8:31, John 2:19-21)
Jesus died to pay the penalty for our sins. “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.” ~1 John 2:2
He conquered and defeated death by rising again and that gives us the hope of eternal life (John 5:29, John 11:25).
“And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.” ~1 Corinthians 15:14
“And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.” ~1 Corinthians 15:17
Salvation by grace
We are all sinners separated from God and deserving of eternal punishment for our sin. Jesus’ death on the cross paid for the sins of mankind, giving us access to the gift of eternal life/Salvation.
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast” ~Ephesians 2:8-9
Salvation through Jesus Christ alone.
“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” ~John 14:6
He is coming again! (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Revelation 22:12, Matthew 24:30, Matthew 24:37-39).
“For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.” ~ Matthew 16:27
