Dismissed. Rejected. Turned down. Cast aside.
Those are just a few words to describe how I feel right now. As you all my have guessed, the person that interviewed me last week did not call me this week. Ergo, they're not hiring me.
What went wrong? Why did God turn me away from this job? It was perfect for me. PERFECT! So why didn't I get it? I don't know. But I wish I did.
*Sigh* Seems like everything goes right for all the other guys my age, but it's the complete opposite for me. All the guys I see who are my age these days have jobs, driver's licenses, cars, and even girlfriends. So why not me? Why does God hold me back from all those things I should have had by now?
As you might have concluded, I'm feeling insanely down in heart right about now. If you guys could pray for me in the following ways, I'd appreciate it.
First, pray that God will meet me and console me in my sadness.
Second, pray that I won't give up and wallow in self-pity, or anything like that.
Third, pray that I will be empowered through this experience, and come out stronger in the end.
Finally, and most important, pray that I will find the means to pay for my college tuition soon, whether those means be a job, or financial aid, or whatever.
Oh, and if any of you have some council to offer me, I will gladly accept it.

Hello, my sisters and brothers in Christ. I kind of made a prayer promise to a dear online friend lemonsandlemonade7 , a sister in Christ, who's really in a deep ditch. I won't go into full detail, for her sake. It's deeply personal. I just want her to get close to the Lord as well as her family. I do not know her full story but she came to me with a desperate request because she is trying really hard to hold on. Just prayers for her and her family, for her to feel God in her life and her path to getting better.

Um...hi? Never really done anything like this...
I was just wondering if I could send in a prayer request for something that seems pretty urgent to me... I mean... I guess it's a long process but I wanted to ask anyway...
So... I have a friend who is really, really searching for peace and I've always suggested God, but she doesn't want to talk to Him. I haven't been ranting and shoving the Word down her throat or anything; I'm actually trying to get her interested by incorporating Him into things that she likes. I'm her go-to friend during troubled times. I've always been able to tell that she's not feeling right - she never truly smiles. She said she wouldn't go to God because she's scared He'll condemn her. I try to tell her that He won't, and she ignores me. At this point, she's trying out lesbianism for fulfillment and it's not going well. I know I can't make her choices for her, but I really, really want her to set aside the stereotypes and get to know Jesus for the loving friend He is. She's suffering and wants to stop, but doesn't know how to. I don't know what I'd do if she chose to avoid God forever. Still, we're pretty young yet and maybe she'll want to take that step once she ages a little.
I just ask that you pray for her so she breaks the walls down at least a little bit - just long enough to see who Jesus truly is.

A while ago, I asked for prayer concerning my computer. Thanks to all your prayers, it is working again. While the art I had on it was lost, the Lord helped me to deal with it. Thank you for all your prayers.
