Hi,

Can I please request a prayer? The Word says that there is strength in prayer when many come together to pray for a cause. And it is needed now, not for myself, but for my family, and my little cousin, Peter.
My little cousin is now 16 years, and I'm sure weighs less than 30kgs by now. He has been disabled since birth, born unable to walk, sit up straight really do things with his arms and hands or talk at all. He has always been thin, very frail. The doctors told my aunt he would never reach the age of 5. He proved them wrong, he proved them wrong by three times that.
But now.. his conditions are failing badly. He can no longer eat food and has to be given nourishment through a pipe.. he has major breathing troubles and they were gonna put a thing into his neck to breathe.. now he seems to weak for such an operation.
I got the call tonight that he may not be with us much longer. It is an impossible prayer, but we serve the God of the impossible.
This young boy... in all those years.. he has never lived, NEVER. He's never had a friend, never been able to play or fall, to talk or shout, to debate with someone, to sing a song, to climb a tree, to ride a bike. Those beautiful eyes and lush head of hair, he's never had a girlfriend. Never even been able to argue or play with his little sister. It's a shame... we all live and we complain, and he;s never had that chance and now his time may be up.
I beg you, pray for a miracle, pray for the impossible. My family needs strength. My aunt... this will break her to pieces, and his little sister, she's 7... how can she even understand this? My grandmother has helped care for him since he was a baby, he is like a son to her too and her own health isn't good these days.
I pray that God will intervene and save him, and if it is His will to take him, then that He will grant us all the strength and peace to pull through this. Please pray with us.

I have a confession to make. I'm sad to say that porn has infiltrated my head and I feel like I'm going farther away from God. It isn't all porn, just a specific one, and I'm scaring myself with it. It's gay porn, and it has my brain attached to it. I want to quit but I'm always telling myself that it isn't a big deal, but it is because I told myself that I'd never go into porn a long time ago. If I were to tell my parents, it's not like they'll scald me or anything because they'd know I'm trying to run from it, they'll just tell me that it's a phase I'm going through and it's normal. I don't care how normal it would be, but I hate it. Please pray that I'd get away from this gay porn because I'm worried I'm putting myself in harms way and scarring myself.

Thank you all for praying for my recent requests.
Something new has come up however.

A friend of mine has been in a secret relationship with a girl, whom I am also friends with, here on deviant art. They both live in different states in the US and have never met in person. Neither of their parents know of their bisexuality and nor of their relationship. However recently the girlfriend's parents found out somehow about their relationship and they have shut away all possible communications for them. They're constantly watching her and monitoring how she uses her phone and computer. I have spoken to both of them. My friend (not a believer) has little hope nor faith in anything getting better, she blames herself for all of this, and is only thinking of herself and of her girlfriend. The girlfriend (a believer, but not as strong) however is thinking my friend and her parents and how they feel and why they are acting the way they are.
Basically I want my friend to understand her girlfriends parents actions and that they are doing the things because they cant trust her and want whats best for her (rather they think they know whats best but really only God knows), or try to control her, etc. . I want my friend to have hope that things will get better and I want her to be concerned for her girlfriends relationship with her parents. the girlfriend wants to be getting along with her parents again and just wishes to not be so controlled. They only wish to speak to each other and the parents are doing all they can to make sure they never speak again. I doubt the parents have done any prayer about this, since their actions have been quite extreme.
I have actually been through a situation like this before, i was kept a secret from, and I understand both sides of this.
..in short. I want prayer for the two and for the parents .. to bring them wisdom and guidance and love in their actions and words.... and that all can be forgiven eventually.. please and thank you for reading this. I want to help them in anyway I can.

Thank you all for your prayers for my jewellery-making meeting. God really answered prayer. Not only could we make a lot of things for charity, but we also got to listen to a sermon together - because one of the girls who came happened to bring along a sermon print-out we've been circulating in our Bible-study group, and one of the others asked her to read it aloud. I'm really hoping now that all those who listened - 4 are from my Bible study group but two are not (one is a patchwork-religion Christian, the other I don't know) think about what they heard and learn something from it.
